Councilman Thomas Muscarella, TOH Receiver Jeanine C. Driscoll, presented Maria Cassano, of Bellmore, with a 2023 Town of Hempstead Make a Difference Award. Maria is the owner and operator of American Beauty Bistro, a gastropub with delicious eats and impressive drinks found in Massapequa, Massapequa Park, and Bellmore. A proud mother of four, Maria continues to Make a Difference through the community in more ways than one. Through the pandemic, while working tirelessly to keep her restaurant afloat, Maria donated and delivered food to essential workers. Now her restaurant generously hosts fundraisers to assist local families and organizations.
